About Us

Meet our more than 900 members of every age. We enjoy all levels of play, but the one thing we have in common is that we all love and want to share the joy of pickleball!

Pickleball and friendships. Our motto is “Arrive as a Stranger and Leave as a Friend”

We play on 15 outdoor public courts at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto. Download/view more info HERE.

15 courts sunrise to 3:00 p.m. 7 days a week.

8 courts 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week (8 with lights).

Download/view more info HERE.

It's great to have a place for fun exercise where we don't have to plan ahead. We can drop in for 30 minutes or 3 hours and always find a good game, great camaraderie, and a warm welcome.

Club members and visitors abide by certain court-sharing guidelines. Download/view more info HERE. Learn how to play and how to improve your game at USAPA. Read the USAPA Sportsmanship Guidelines HERE.

Beginner Sessions and Clinics

New to Pickleball?

A Club volunteer will be hosting a Getting Started session for Palo Alto residents only three or four times a month at the courts near the Magical Bridge Playground (see dates and times below). No reservation necessary, no prior experience necessary, no equipment necessary, no club-membership necessary. Please come on time because we have a lot to cover. Look for the person in the orange vest near the storage locker.

Getting Started Sessions

Upcoming Getting Started sessions will be announced a few days in advance based on weather forecast and availability of volunteers. Please check back regularly.

Next Getting Started sessions:

Thursday, May 4th, 12:30 to 2:00 pm

We regret that we do not have the court capacity to offer these sessions to non-residents, and encourage those who live in other communities to get started at the courts nearest their homes. More information:
